Sharayu graduated with a Bachelors of Physiotherapy in 2011 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India. She has had exposure in surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics and general medicine departments as a part of her training. During her Bachelors she has also published her research, thesis topic being ‘Effect of lasers on Diabetic foot ulcers.’ She has a post-graduate in Workplace Wellness and Health Promotion form Centennial College, Toronto ON.
Outside of school, she worked mostly with neurology and orthopedic patients, most of which were post stroke, sports injuries, repetitive strains and post surgery cases. She also has experience in seeing pediatric cases such as Cerebral Palsy, Down’s syndrome, and ADHD. She has also worked with newborn infants to screen for developmental delays.
She has 3 years of experience with elderly population suffering from Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis.
She is currently working on gaining certifications to supplement her active rehabilitation and manual therapy skills.
She has also won national level singing competitions and enjoys playing table tennis, swimming and is a voracious reader.
